Questions
Do I need to connect my Disney account?
No. You read your balances on Disney's member site and enter them here. DVC Companion never signs in to Disney or books anything for you.
What happens when the trial ends?
The card you entered at checkout is charged $25 for the year unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel anytime from My Contracts.
What if I cancel later?
Everything you've recorded stays saved, and the free tools keep working. You can still download your data. Contract tools come back when you rejoin.
I don't own DVC yet. Is this useful?
Yes: the calendar, Compare Resorts, Suggest a Stay and the Buying Guide are free and built for renters and buyers too. Contract Manager is for managing contracts you own.
Where are split stays and the calendar extras?
Choose check-in and check-out dates on the Calendar. Your stay card offers Add Another Resort, and Stay Insights has Find Alternatives. When no single room is open every night, the free Split Stay Builder lists every way to cover your dates by switching rooms or resorts. With Contract Manager, it checks each stay against your contract's points and booking windows, and Record these bookings puts every stay on your contract. On the calendar, select a contract to see a suggested draw and cancellation guidance; with multiple contracts, choose Split points across contracts.
Where do I turn on deadline reminders?
With Contract Manager, open Reminder settings in My Contracts. Banking, expiring-point and Holding emails each have their own switch and lead time. In-app point actions are on by default; email reminders are optional. Push notifications aren't available yet.
