Easiest DVC one-bedrooms to book at 7 months for summer 2027
Kidani Village's Savanna View and Resort View one-bedrooms and Bay Lake Tower's Preferred View were Very likely to book in all 12 summer 2027 weeks at Room Availability's last check, so they're the safest picks when the 7-month window opens. Bay Lake Tower's Resort View and Jambo House's Value and Club rooms are the ones to worry about: full or nearly full most summer weeks.
The timing matters now. Any DVC member can book a stay 7 months before check-in, at 8 AM Eastern, so summer's windows open one week at a time starting in late October: a Sunday, May 30, 2027 check-in opens Oct 30, 2026; July 4 opens Dec 4; August 15 opens Jan 15. Until then, only home-resort owners can book those weeks, so what's open today is what's left for everyone else.

Animal Kingdom: Kidani Village is the easy building

Both buildings charge the same points for the same view, so Kidani gets you the same giraffes for the same points with far less risk. If you want Jambo House, Savanna and Resort View are usually there; Value and Club rarely are.

Preferred View (the lake side) is the safest one-bedroom at Bay Lake Tower all summer. Theme Park View is a maybe: open most weeks, but full for the weeks of June 27 and July 4. Resort View costs the fewest points and is the hardest to get.

Room Availability has no recent data for Riviera, so this one comes from DVC Field Guide's booking history: in past summers, both one-bedroom views were open every night of a typical week at the 7-month window, and Preferred View was often still open at 5 months.
The catch is points, the most of the three resorts. Riviera also needs a direct contract; resale points from other resorts can't book it.
